College student figuring stuff out
I AM SO TIRED IT’S RIDICULOUS.  My whole “Hey I’m Gonna Blog Everyday and Keep Up With What’s Up” thing hasn’t really been working out, but I’m TRYING to work harder at it.  So, what’s been up in the real world in the past week since I’ve been trapped in the working world? Honestly, the most exposure I’ve had is an (amazing) issue of Vanity Fair and then the “news” on Twitter. I’ve checked into the New York Times website here and there, but yeah, that’s basically my knowledge of the world today. Anything new going on out there? Movies, music, huge breaking things I need to know? I read all about Fashion Week this past week, which, if you know me, you know I religiously follow Fashion Week. If I wasn’t going for journalism, I’d be a buyer. I’d say designer, but you haven’t seen my drawings…. I’ll post the picture of the gargoyle statue I made for a friend our freshman year of high school as a joke. Let’s just say she has to keep it in the back of her closet because it scares her too much to leave it out. She won’t admit it, but believe me, I’d be hiding it, too. I’ve made a successful earning in tips this week, which will be paying for LOLLAPALOOZA, so I’m stoked. Literally, there is not a day that goes by that I’m not obsessing about Lolla… Maybe I’m too excited? Nah. This week is about to be really awesome - visiting Rheanne, jamming at Birthday Bash, having TWO WHOLE DAYS off of work, and then seeing some family. In the next couple weeks we’ll be heading down to the coast to see the fam down there, and that’ll be great. Sometimes you need to head back to where you’re from to almost reset yourself. I feel so refreshed every time. So, guys, how’s June been treating y’all? Hope it’s been filled with beaches, sunshine, drinks, fun, and new experiences. I’ll be a little better about this in the next week, including some of my OWN pictures. I dig the one tonight though, makes me wanna kayak during the night. Something to do this summer, I think? I’m about to come at you guys this week with magazine reviews, book reviews, music reviews, things to do, things I’ve done, things to see- so get ready. x
